hey guys,

Newly broken up with an ex and meant to be going to a function which we will both be at soon. I really want to go, i just know bumping into him will make me want him back. Ive been so strong so far and dont want to loose all the ground ive gained. I really want to go though...argghhhhh..dont know what to do!!!! if he goes i know hell b going to see me as he wouldnt go otherwise. i think hell kick up a fuss if he sees me and want to get back together which isnt rele an option!!

ne ideas?

would would u all do??

Well, if it's a once in a lifetime, never to be repeated type of function (like a wedding) then I would go. But if it's something that is more routine, I wouldn't.

If you do go, will you have a close friend in attendance who can help suppot you through this?

i think thats good advice uve given.

well alot of my close friends cant make it (on hols etc). there is someone i could go with, altho they wouldnt rele provide support- ie. i wouldnt confide in them. They wud b there for a laugh and to keep me happy. However, this person isnt liked by my ex very much at all.... :s and it may cause some issues. i dont rele know what to do. my friends say him being there shudnt stop me going- ie..he shudnt dictate my life but i dunno, it may be a bad decision......

thanks, good point :) all this stuff has rele messed with my head, its difficult to see the big picture.
