What's up with him?

I ended my engagement and asked my fiance to move out. His behavior has me baffled. I had asked him the day after if he even knew "why" and his answer was so way off - not even close. So - according to him - he doesn't even know why I ended it, yet he doesn't seem affected at all. Of course this makes me feel rotten. Nasty or mean as it may sound I would like to know that he at least misses me, wonders "why", or is hurting. Yes -I want him to be hurting!!

Having to make arrangements for him to get his stuff out, etc., at the end of our phone conversation he says, "Bye Babe" - he comes to move out his stuff and before he leaves he leans over and kisses me. What is up with that?

purrrplcat...

Pianoguy noticed you didn't indicate 2 important bits of information:

1. Do you own or rent the place the two of you have been living in? Or do you both?
2. Is his stubbornness to leave a "desire on his part" for a reconciliation?

In scenerio #1...if you completely own the place...or if his name doesn't appear on the lease...you can always obtain a court order for a "move out date!" You can also request a police escort when he indicates the date he plans to move his stuff.

In scenerio #2...are you absolutely, positively sure the relationship you had together is DONE, OVER & FINISHED? Apparently, your "former fiancee" isn't?

What are your reasons for ending your engagement? Maybe this should be clarified to him. I know it should probably be obvious but we know how guys (no offense piano guy) know only what they need to know.

I'm sure he is hurting too but is he normally a guy who wears his feelings on his sleeve. Trust me we all want them to hurt just like we are but I've come to learn that guys hurt differently, and it seems none at all.

Keep your chin up
