So, my ex and me split up about 7 weeks ago. Due to the fact we had a great relationship, and only split up because he feels too young for this commitment (we're 17) we've stayed in close contact.
Now usually, he would contact me a few times a day (online/phone call/text), and we'd definitly talk every night. It's just how we are- relationship or not.
For the past weekish though, he's been acting funny with me. Texting me a huge amount less, not coming online in the evenings, and rarely ringing me. We went to a gig together Saturday though, and got along like normal.
It just feels, like he's being really distant from me- when we do talk it feels like he's being quiet, but I could be imagining this?
So, 1. does anyone have any ideas why he could be being like this? He does keep complaining how high maintance and lacking a sense of humour I am lately. Could that be it?
2. How is best to act with him whilst he is like this? Last night I brought up the fact he's bothering less, and he just said "ha get over it, I'm tired" hmph.
Advice greatly appreciated because I'm at my wits end.

Well, he is probably acting distant because, as you said, you guys are technically broken up.
I know he has been texting a girl mate of his- but he has made it clear he doesn't fancy her, and was infact annoyed that I got angry with him about her.
He has only been texting her since they used to see each other daily at school, and he has dropped out so now they don't.
Hmm...this break up hurts so much :-/ I don't know how I will get through it.
I sound like such an angsty teen, but I'm hurting so much over this..
I know it is hard, breaking up is one of the most intense emotional experiences most of us have had.
