Will it work again?

We dated for about 2 months. He was so into me but among friends he acted like we were just friends. Everyone knew we were together though (we were always sharing the room when we went on group trips) but we never kissed or hugged in public. I felt I was pretending and did not like that. so I told him I want him to be a BF and act like it in public. He told me that he cannot be in a relationship right now and that he is expecting to get a job soon in Europe and go for it... so we broke up. 2 weeks later we met again at my place (he had forgotten something) and he said he regrets not giving our relation a chance given how much we are atracted to each other... and ever since he showers me with words of how he misses when I m away and cant wait to be with me...
in the mean time, he did not get the job offer in Europe. So I know he is staying here for sometime. I m in the process of interviewing with a company in the West coast (we live in the East coast) I dont know what will happen if I get the job. Ideally I prefer that he moves with me. But by the time I get an offer it will be 6 months together. Am I realistic in expecting him to move with me? I will be working for a high profile company and making tons of $$ so I defenitely see us able to live there from my salary alone until he finds a job (he is very qualified and should be able to find a job there)
Am I heading for another breakup if I decide to take the job? He knows it is a 1 in a million opportunity to work for this company. And he is currently working for an ok employer...

3 questions from Pianoguy (concerning your moving situation):
1. Does your b/f have any ambitions of his own? . Have you considered the possibility that what HE wants to do with his life might keep him on the East Coast?
2. While you might have tons of money to set him up with a stressfree lifestyle, do you believe that you can "buy his soul?"
3. How much attention can YOU give to him (and your relationship together) knowing that a good portion of your time will be preoccupied by your job?
Try to remember that just because a new work situation is IDEAL for you...it might not be perfect for your boyfriend? The two of you might want to have a serious talk before you "strap him to your luggage rack" and yell: WESTWARD HO!
