Would this get a restraining order???

Awhile back, I posted under another name, LHSDEV13. I was going through an abusive relationship with my husband of three years and was extremely miserable. That was about three weeks ago.
I finally moved into another apartment, alone, 40 miles away from where I was before. I now have my own place, with a little bit more furniture since my family moved out of their house at the same time. I was a little frightened at first, but I think now I am ok.
I just need some advice. I work in a mall, for an optometrist, I am an optometric technician. So there are glass windows that are in the front of my office to where I can see out into the mall corridor. My husband, who recently got ahold of my cell number, started calling and harrasing me, getting various people to say that they would kill me. My husband also found out that I am talking to someone else. Simply talking, he is literally just a friend, in fact, he is dating my cousin. Suddenly, my friend is getting voicemails saying that one day he's going to go outside and his car will be painted with my blood and things of that nature. It's not my husband's voice and the numbers are all private. I got my number changed and it was fine for awhile, until one of the people that I at first considered a friend gave the new one to him again. Now, he sits out in the hallway of my mall and watches me, walks around, sends me text messages, whatever. The problem is, they aren't mean ones. They are all, baby, I love you, I'm sorry, I've changed. And when he tries to talk to me, it's the same stuff.
It's annoying me, and I have already gotten in trouble with the office that we sublease from. However, what are my options? And why is it that I feel guilty when I hear the hurt in his voice? What do i have to do in order to get a restraining order or is that the solution???? Help, please, I just need to know the legal stuff as well as opinions.

Tell him "Stop contacting me. If you don't leave me alone, I will file a restraining order against you."

Talk to a lawyer and find out what your rights are. Do you have the messages with the death threats saved?

In my opinion it would get you a restraining order, but ask an attorney. The first visit is usually free.
