10 weeks / 70 days NC today !!!!

Hi Everyone:
I couldn't be any more excited today without wetting my pants! (Holding arms up in the air as if signaling a touchdown!)

Your post made me smile! I could feel all that positivity coming through my computer screen! Isn't it amazing, how time does magically pass, that we do indeed heal, and that life DOES get better when we do the work to put our affairs behind us?!
I am so happy that you are starting to feel the benefits of ending your affair, and are sharing your insights with us. Keep pushing ahead and you'll be sitting sipping a nice comforting beverage in tweenerville soon! I can't wait to greet you (-:
* As a reminder, NOW IS NOT the time to get over-confident. DO NOT let your guard down in any way shape or form. I found my first 90 days relatively easy compared to this nasty place between 3-9 months. The first 3 months were filled with grief over the ending yes, but also the *successful feelings* that came with each new day of NC. The following months were filled with "going deep" inside myself to figure out what lay beneath all the "whys". The most rewarding, yet potentially difficult part of the recovery process. This is all a process that unfolds through time ...
GO FREEDOM!
TU.

I am very proud of you, honey, and now you are into the double NC digits which means....YAY!!! 10 weeks is HUGE! I am also so happy to read that you are feeling so much better. At 7 weeks you were still a bit wobbly, but look what another 3 weeks has done? You are definitely on your way.
Please be sure to email me with your 3 month NC date so I can honor you with your Tweener Wings. I can already hear them flapping off in the distance. :smileywink: Also, as TU advised, be happy, but not too over confident just yet. This is indeed a long process, one in which many more light bulbs moments will be flashing before your eyes. You don't want to be totally caught off guard, so understanding our inner workings helps to prepare us for the unexpected.
More ((Hugs)) for you,
I'm so happy for you!
Ten weeks is great, iam very happy for you! I can relate to this feeling as well, being frozen and not being able to imagine a different way of living. Each hurdle with moving forward and letting go is a small victory and brings a better awareness of what was holding us back. For me it is fear, I am facing those fears slowly and it is hard work but so worth it!
Congrats gal on your hard work:)
Thanks all.
