That's wonderful Katniss
Out of the mouths of babes is right! We don't stop to think of the
ramifications of our preoccupation do we?! My kids used to make a game
of counting the number of times I went to the restroom when we went to
Disney. Of course half the time I was trying to call or text xap. This
past trip they commented that I really held my bladder well this time!
ha!
Thanks Decade, I appreciate your support. The next three weeks will be tough, with two work trips to his city before the end of the month (two to four days each time). I will breathe a big sigh of relief when February is over.
Iggy and Never - our children certainly have an amazing way of speaking the truth. I guess we all just need to accept that what's done is done and really focus on being present in the moment from now on.
Gal - thank you so much for your encouraging words, the freedom feels great!
Garfy - I love your positive thinking. You're absolutely right, instead of dreading how tough its going to be I should be imaging myself walking through those days with poise and confidence. And bugger it, I need to stop calling it "his city". I lived in the coolest little capital in the world for 10 years before he ever set foot in the place, and I have so many friends and memories there that have nothing to do with him at all. Time to start reclaiming some of those spaces.
