immediately think of XMM upon waking. It was wonderful! That is progress for me.

What was that first thought this morning?
And, how long until it occurred to you that it was not about MM?
Congrats!

It really felt good. Now, when i can't sleep at night--or wake up in the middle of the night--instead of tracing the shadows on the ceiling and thinking about all of this, i read. It's amazing how a good book can take your mind of things. When i turn the light out, instead of going back to thinking about xMM and my H and all that has happened the last year, i simply think about the characters in the book. Needless to say, i've done a ton of reading in the last few weeks.
I am also sleeping now with rosary beads. I hold them in my hand at night and lo and behold, they are still in my hands first thing in the morning--which reminds me to pray and get focused right off the bat.
Every little bit helps.

Bedtime is usually the time for me that the thoughts come flooding in, but last night all I could think about was how p-o'd I was at the American Idol bottom 3... (You AI watchers know what I'm talking about.) That was progress for me, too. ;)
Phew, feel so much better now that I got that off of my chest!
:)
Those little wins do feel good dont they?
xo!
