It's been almost a year since I last had contact with him. It's been a great year and he has become a distant memory and I have no desire to contact him again. I had my birthday about a month ago. I just happened to check an email address that I used exclusively with him. Not sure why I checked. I was shocked to see a couple of Happy Birthday emails from him. Unbelievable. It's been a year. What does he want now?

He's fishing to see if you'd take the bait...he's looking for an ego stroke..hoping that maybe you'd still like to play this twisted game with him again. But you know that you deserve so much more, and a year NC

Hi Wan and Lynn,

Thanks for replying. Yeah I know what I don't want and the good thing is that I have no desire to want anything from him anymore. I didn't feel a thing when I saw those emils from him. They are going right in the trash. It was interesting that he didn't use my regular (and his regular) email address to send a simple bday wish (which we often used also).

Thank you lovelystarr. Not sure if you would remember but once you said to me that there will come a point where you would think of him and say - oh yeah him and move on with your day. I am there now and I have to thank you and this board for keeping me strong and determined to get where I am today. This is a life that is mine and I am truly happy :)
