Board Time?
| Thu, 09-02-2004 - 10:06pm |
what time do you find to come on the board and read? it's 8pm my time and I'm just wondering if anyone can get on in the evenings - I guess I assume most of the "marrieds" are with their families right now and being single... I'm with myself! :) LOL
I can get on pretty much at anytime... during the day at work... in the evenings from home... even on the weekends!

but that board seemed so much more immature than this place!?!?!? I felt like I was amid a bunch of teenies in affairs :o I couldn't even stick around! :( Thanks for the link though! :)
It sometimes depends on what is happening in the world. With this being a holiday weekend (Labor Day) and many schools starting, lots of the members are busy with family obligations. Summers are usually a bit slower around here as the kids are home from school and moms don't always have an opportunity to post with kids around, plus there are the obligatory family vacations to deal with, camps to organize, etc.
I'll check my board digests so I can give you the busier days. LOL, some are just busier than others. On the norm, though, the weekends are typically slower.
Friday Sept 3 - only 14 posts

Sun Aug 29 - 20; Sat Aug 28 - 7; Fri Aug 27 - 36 (Weekend total - 63)
Thurs Aug 26 - 23; Wed Aug 25 - 23; Tues Aug 24 - 13; Mon Aug 23 - 24 (Week day total - 83)
Sun Aug 22 - 16; Sat Aug 21 - 10; Fri Aug 20 - 16 (Weekend total - 42)
Yup, it seems to vary from day-to-day. As household routines settle down with kids back in school, some of the day-time posters will increase. I don't have resources for tracking time of day other than going through the outline view and counting one by one.
I check the board daily and post when I feel there is a need that I can meet that isn't being covered by the general commuity.
