Okay - huge favor - I'm an avid reader and clearly need to find some books to help me in my recovery from xAP - I looked in the Healing Library - but there isn't a suggested book list - so I'm asking all of you - Any great book must read suggestions??

Hi Lelli -
Some that have helped me:
"The Journey from Abandonment to Healing: Turn the End of a Relationship into the Beginning of a New Life" by Susan Anderson
"The Zen Path through Depression" by Philip Martin
"Anam Cara" by John O'Donohue
I also read a lot on Buddhism and other peaceful ways of life. Any book by Thich Nhat Hanh is wonderful. I also loved "The Four Agreements" by Don Miguel Ruiz
Hope that helps :)

There is a list in the HL but you had to go back a bit. I will copy the link here.

These are the books I've been reading this week.
Controlling People:
I'm reading and working through the Cognitive Behavior Therapy Workbook for Dummies!
Ha. I like it!
Another really good book on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is The Feeling Good Handbook by David Burns - good explanations and lots of simple and immediately helpful exercises to do. I think

Thanks...I went straight to the library and checked it out!
I love libraries!
I'd be delighted to send it to you; the form might not make complete sense to you unless you've read some of the book, though.
I'm not sure how to email you through EAS.
