There are not enough words to describe what an amazing, intelligent, giving, supportive, and beautiful woman you are and have been to this community. I would have been lost without your direct, honest, yet loving posts and all we have to do is look in the Healing Library to find many of them, that's how incredible they are.

Be where you are; otherwise you will miss your life. ~ Buddha

Dear beautiful TU

I save great posts for myself so I can read them when I really need that extra boost.

Your posts feature most on my list of 'the bests'.

Your purpose in life is to pass your amazing strength, insight and reason to others. You are achieving that literally across the world.

You are my hero

Hello All,

Well, I typed a much longer response and lost it when my computer screen froze. I was going to try and re-type the message, but I haven't found the time to do so!. So, rather than take the time to walk through all the transitions I have been through this year, I will spend that time posting to other board members.

A much better way to spend my time (:

However, I did want to ensure that each person on this board knows how grateful I am for their continued love & support. This board provided the foundation for the healing work that needed to be done. It can't be stressed enough, that going NC & blocking and walking are only the FIRST steps toward ending the affair mindset. The rest comes with true introspection and a willingness to realize that indeed we are all capable of becoming the worst of ourselves, that we were NOT victims, that no matter how difficult our lives were, how unloving our relationships were, no matter how much stress and unhappiness we were experiencing, WE HAD NO RIGHT to do what we did. There is no excuse great enough, no justification good enough for entering into & continuing an affair.

There is NO SUCH THING as a successful affair.

That's oxymoronic.

The people that learn to manage affairs "best" have mastered the art of being sneaky, manipulative, deniers, minimizers, blamers - I know - I was once an expert.

Job lost, friends lost, marriage lost, esteem lost, and deeply hurting children and family later - I have paid my dues.

And I am free.

Much care to all,

TU.

Late to the party as usual..... Congrats TU, you reached out your hand when i went NC kicking and screaming and you have passed on your knowledge, thoughts and reflections to all who will listen.... it feels like you should have been a vet months ago....you are wise beyond your years.... your stbx needs a good wakeup call to not loose an incredibly strong lady...

Whether you think you can or you think you can't you are probably right. A parrot can repeat what it has learned but the mark of true intelligence is applying what is learned.
