Having ended my 4 year A approximately 100 hours ago, i am in the midst of the grieving process, feeling good sometimes and pretty horrible and hopeless at other times.

Hi MWS,

Can i add that we don't have to spend much now that it is over?

Great list, momwhosings! I don't have much to add, just this:

- Hearing news radio instead of music radio (too many love songs) or hearing instrumental songs or songs whose lyrics I don't understand.

- Having a laugh.

Mom,
Add to your great list:
Meditation
Journaling!!

Also, read books about great leaders and inspirational, strong women -- like Eleanor Roosevelt!

Oh, and eating healthfully. Lot's of veggies (raw is great for energy and fiber) and low bad carbs. Carbs turn to sugar and cause dips in energy. Stay away from sweets, too, because it's time to grow your heart, not your a$$.

No drinking alcohol, either!

Don't forget to take long baths. And don't sleep too much or too little.

Great thread!

I forgot one more thing!
Go to the Dr. and get your annual pap and breast exam! Get your hormones and thyroid checked, too.
That's just good advice for anyone!

Great coping strategies, and boy do I need them!

I would like to add one.
