EAS Retreat. Who's in?

For absolutely real we can make this retreat idea happen!! I will be happy to organize. A couple questions for those really interested in getting together:
1. Cabin in the mountains or house on the beach?
2. Time frame? I have a very flexible schedule, so any time is good for me. However, I'm thinking late Feb. through March time frame might work. I don't have little ones at home any more, but if memory serves, spring break is usually in March/April. I'm not sure how that would play out for those of you with kids.
If you'd like me to organize, give me some feed back and I will make it happen!! I am envisioning all sorts of things: Michelle passing out our homework assignments (while jumping up and down, gesturing excitedly),

Okay - let's come up with possible dates first, and then look to deciding on a location??? Depending on the date, different locations will be differently affordable or not.
My wish list:
- Spring time
- 3 days, 2 sleeps or 3 sleeps 2 days
- Cottage (spring will be cheaper) with fire pit & BBQ
- Central USA to make it accessible for as many
as possible ... some of us will be crossing the boarder
Maybe a couple of different sub-groups?
1) meal plan group to organize meals
2) safe space creation group, i.e.: some ice breakers, social committee group
3) organizational group
4) activity group (walks, morning meditation etc ...)
Okay ... I digress as I might run the risk of being un-invited!!!
Dee,
Aunt Ruthie is still on the lamb but she was last seen with some tree huggers in the mountains so we will have to keep a look out if we get a cabin. You know ol’ Ruthie has a nose more sensitive than a bloodhound for sniffing out family members. I would say that for added protection we need Clarity to come. She is good with buckshot! There is a rumor going around the EAS halls that she has some skills in climbing through windows too…just sayin…could be helpful…especially if we get locked out.
But good looking out on that fire insurance requirement! You know what happened last time we met up for your B-day. BTW it was only “alleged” that I started that fire. NOTHING was proven in court…need I remind you?
Anyways if Dee and I are going to be in the same room then a place that is heavily insured is a must.
Whether you think you can or you think you can't you are probably right. A parrot can repeat what it has learned but the mark of true intelligence is applying what is learned.
Peed my pajamas a little remembering Clarity falling out of her window!
I love the idea of Dee's place in Naples!
TU,
Can we pleeeeeeeeease make arts and
My T-shirt: I survived an affair and all i got was this stinking t-shirt!
or something more positive:
EASers will blow your F*cking FOG away!
(sorry I know I am not to use swear words - bad me)
TU.
Wheellll now Dee I’m a little torn. Which bubble do we burst for the Newbie’s first? That for most xAP was not a knight in shining armor on a white horse but a coward dressed in tin foil on an albino donkey (using the kinder-gentler word for donkey here) using dysfunctional ways to deal with problems just as we were or that Aunt Ruthie…and…you and me being wild and crazy is just as much a made up idea as any fantasy we made up in our heads about xAP during the A. I believe the discovery of the former will be a lot more of a letdown then the discovery of the latter.
I say we let them down easy and gently on both accounts. I suppose they will be relieved to find that you and I are harmless and as law abiding as they come (well most of the time).
