Hi Mickey,

This is an add-on to my posted reply #28900.3 on this thread.

I failed to address somethings in my original reply here...as if my initial reply was not long enough…sheshh E1 is so wordy sometimes!

I wanted to point out that I do “get it” when you say xMM gave you a gift by saying you could not be friends.

Whether you think you can or you think you can't you are probably right. A parrot can repeat what it has learned but the mark of true intelligence is applying what is learned.

I won't give up on you. But don't give up on yourself, either. Choose the better path, even if it scares the crap out of you to do so. I think we become so accustomed to our own misery that we are sometimes afraid to take the steps necessary to change not only ourselves, but the outcomes we seek. I have faith in you, Mickey.

reinitiating contact is like being one of those little lab monkeys frantically hitting the lever waiting for the crack pellet to come.... long after the experiment is over and the men in white coats have left.

For anyone who responded or even just lurked/thought that Mickey did 'the right thing' by breaking NC, that is Crack Monkey thinking.

Mickey, I'm very sorry to hear that you are still in this phase after so much time. I hope this time your commitment to NC sticks and you are able to finally clear your head. There is not much I can add to what Iddy, Jane, E1 and the others told you and I won't even try. I just want you to know I'm cheering for you and want you to heal.

Best,
Dee

This is a great post Mickey. It shows a lot of growth and focusing on areas that will help you heal. I’m getting warm fuzzes reading it!
