His email is dripping with his own self pity and his obvious need to try to hurt you. Let it go.

That's right, you are married and he needs to accept that.

Do you REALLY think he gave a stranger a $3000 bracelet? Seriously? Come on.
He is doing everything he can to get to you. Stay strong. Celebrate today - Sept 22 - the first day of autumn - who cares about the 24th. You don't want to celebrate the day you began a dishonest relationship. :)
The sad part is, I really think he did give that bracelet away, probably to the girl at the flower shop where he had ordered flowers and gave the card.
He has always been very generous when it came to gifts.
I'm glad that you are recognizing his immaturity. That was exactly what I was thinking. Like I said - he is wallowing in self pity. I'm sure he either didn't give it a second thought when he gave away the bracelet, or he was acting like a martyr.
He is realizing that it's REALLY over. I think it was TU that said once "it's a whole new ball game when you come to this realization" So I'm sure for him it's very hard. But that is his path and his struggle, not yours.
You have a wonderful, colorful fall weekend with your hubby :) and hopefully XAP will keep his word and not contact you anymore.
