Has anyone noticed that you can float a thread to the top?  Yes, after you post, go to the Options...top right...and one of the options is to 'float to top'...cool.  I hope eventually, new posts will automatically go to the top and that responses will bring it to the top again...like before...but for now, click that option and you go to the head of the class :)

I don't think it'll work if the thread has been floated once already, but initially, or at least once, you can float it...even if you are a responder to someone who didn't know to, or how to, float.

Oh, that could be, Happy!

But I still see this thread as third down, after her thread and after Dignity's thread.

I think Thia has her thread set-up as a sticky, it is showing up first on all the boards, must be something only moderators can do.  So if you float a thread to the top, you should she it right under hers.

Oh brother.  Just when I thought I was on to something.  Thanks for chiming in and letting me know.

No, it's not.

Mine shows Thia's update post as the first post.

Are you saying that this thread is not seen at the top of this page?

I'm not sure Clare-Bear, but I *think* that it only floats for you, not for everyone.

I tried that with a thread the other day, and it did work - but I don't know if it went to the top for everyone, or just for me.  Since I'm still not able to change my settings and order threads by most recent - they are all showing up out of order anyway.  :(

We had this option before the switch, and I tried it - but I think that I was the only one who saw it at the top.  Unless someone else had "floated" it - it showed up where it normally would for them.

Do you know what I mean?

I can't test it since all of the threads I see are all out of order, but maybe someone who did get their settings to work could check it out - if you float something, they could tell you if it shows up at the top for them too?

Smooches,

Kim
