Dear Foggy:
I just read Iddy's birthday post for the 100th time today.

Froggy ... what the what?!
Tell me it isn't so? You're to be holding the flashlight for me. Remember?
Knock, Knock!
Who's there?
Ima.
Ima who?
Ima psychiatrist. I'm here 'cause you won't open up!
I know - awful. Just awful.

Edited to add: You don't want me to start posting cat and dog pics to you now do you! This could take cute pet humor to an obnoxious level! And I can not guarantee that no dog or cat would be humiliated in the process. We don't have to go this route. It's up to you!
Whether you think you can or you think you can't you are probably right. A parrot can repeat what it has learned but the mark of true intelligence is applying what is learned.
Well Gal, TU already took care of the super-duper lame-o joke...so bring on that embarrassing story! :) And E1 please I do not want to see the harming or humiliation of any unsuspecting animals....after all I love puppies and I love pussie cats. :)
And yes I suppose if we use Webster's definition of sulk: "Be silent, morose, and bad-tempered out of annoyance or disappointment" that is exactly where I was. I have been surrounded by so much pain, both my own and pain of many near and dear to me as of late. So when I came here to celebrate and pass on Love and saw that the same post which took my voice completely away this weekend was still lingering like last weeks fish dinner...well it put me over. I know, I need thicker skin....but I put up with alot of things here and let many comments slide off my back, but something in that just irked me to the point where I thought the best thing for my health would sadly be to leave. And I am sorry if I caused anyone grey hairs due to my tantrum. :)
But as E1 said its safe to come out now...and its nice to know you ladies have my back. I am smiling again!:) And yes TU, I have that flashlight, pointed out into the darkness...And even if it is in cold and shaky hands...it will be there for as long as you need it.
And E1, like me I know your ability to post has been streaky as of late, and we have missed eachother....but as always it is so nice to share space with you. Good job on acknowledging the big day of our yellow capped leader...you are braver than me my friend :) And we all know that she deserves it.
What the hell....can I just say it's my turn to blame my current attitude and mood on month end hormone imbalances? SURE...lets do that!
peace&light yall
Foggy
Noooooo way mate,
You know I love you but I have to stamp my wee foot here. You (as a man) dont get the 'perk' of blaming moods on hormones. We have lots of 'lurks' associated with those rotten things- periods, tender boobs, hot flashes- let alone all the joy that using those hormones can bring (childbirth, breastfeeding, piles... TMI?)
So no no no buddy boy.... you dont have to put up wth the lurks so you dont get to claim our one perk. Besides I have enough rampant hormone issues for both of us!!
Big hugs to the Fogster- hope you feel better soon xxx

Great post NS :) I second everything you said.

FOGGY...FOGGY... FOGGY. Can you hear it? That's all of us chanting your name, lifting you up in your time of pain. You've done it time and time again for many others. So here we are, your army, by your side. I understand the need to sulk and will even go so far as to say sometimes we all need a good sulking, just don't get stuck there okay? I, for one, would not know what to do with myself if you stayed away... especially now since I have made a vow to myself to check in here at the VERY minimum once a week.
And as far as letting what others say on posts here get you down, remember this, "Graciously and enthusiastically accept that others will disapprove, no matter what you do. And delight in the freedom of doing whatever you know is right for you." -- Ralph Marston
