Has _anyone_ here accomplished a successful platonic post-A friendship with xAP? Lurkers? Anyone who posts, but would _never_ admit to breaking NC?

Stating my case for tweenership: Today would mark the 12th week since my break up, however, only 8 weeks since I initiated the single break of NC. If one were able to forgive that egregious error, and take into consideration my quick and complete acceptance of responsibility and holding myself accountable on the board, then I would hope to qualify for tweenership due to my copious supportive posts on the board and the progress I've made to come out of the fog and because of my firm resolve to live henceforth a genuine, honorable, respectful and A-free life.
However, I believe I do not deserve tweenership status at this point because A) I did knowingly and willingly break NC, and B) I still have bad habits such as occasionally checking his myspace and exhibiting methadoney behavior such as day dreaming, and licking my wounds with pathetic bubble baths accompanied by more than one glass of wine and Jeff Buckley CDs.
I respect the board, its members, and its mission too much to think that I would qualify for tweenership without having done the work and taking the time to heal, or accept the honor of Tween before it is deserved.
Respectfully submitted,
Sr. Newbie 1st Class

Dee, Dee, Dee!!!
When I started reading this thread I thought…WHAT THE… I was going to have to assemble my posse and issue a verbal thrashing that would make Bully Beat Down look like something senior citizens did for recreation.
Whether you think you can or you think you can't you are probably right. A parrot can repeat what it has learned but the mark of true intelligence is applying what is learned.
Ha.ha! no, no. I'm cool. Merely skipped the day's Paxil dose. I'm back on track. I'm not doing the Feb 1st thing, by the way. I've already nixed it completely. In fact, since I cannot manage to cancel my AOL, I was thinking of turning it over to YOU for safe keeping. No kidding!
The fog is no longer pea soup -- more of a chicken broth or maybe like, um, a really bland beef consume, but I still have to be very careful where I place my thoughts and energies. I'm very thankful for you and the regiment for keeping me marching in time.
And as far as babies are concerned, I said I was going to have your baby but I'll be damned if I'm going to raise that little bugger; my hands are full with the three rugrats I've got already. Is that ok with hubbie? Let me know.
thanks and cheers,
Dee
Gosh, what an entertaining thread, ha ha.
Dee, in my opinion, based on real life experience,

Do the side effects of skipping a dose include hallucinating and losing your blanking mind?

I texted hubby and he texted back that he “ain’t getting involved in no baby mama drama!” He said he had to issue some tough love my way and told me to block you and walk…COL!

Seriously, that would be fine. Just email me through my profile and we can work out the details. Just erase everything in the email first and your address book.

Dee I'm going to chime in here as well, with a different perspective.

Dee...you're a hot ticket :)
I have no doubt we will be inducting you into the Tweener's Club relatively soon.
And yes, full consideration will be given for your copious supportive posts.

Vicky,
I totally agree with what you shared. I can't overwhelm myself with wondering how to be friends, I really do trust that continuing on this path to self-healing and therapy will allow me to move to a space where a friendship would not even be desirable, whether or not it is possible therefore becomes a non-issue.
thanks for sharing,
j.
thank you so much for posting. I feel better reading it.
