Fun Q&A!

Good Saturday morning.  Hope everyone's doing well.  Time for some fun Q&A.  I'd go first, but I have to think on these a bit.

1.  What famous (or not so famous...living or deceased) person would you like to sit over lunch with?

2.  If you had the microphone on stage in front of the World for your 15 minutes of fame, what would you do or say?

3.  If you were a Collector, what would your collection consist of?

4.  If you could take in one animal from the Wild Kingdom (knowing you wouldn't get mauled or eaten or trampled..and you have plenty of room), what animal would that be?

5.  What would you do if $1,000,000 fell into your lap?

6.  What are you doing for Thanksgiving?

Enjoy your weekend and love the one you're with.

(((group hug)))

1.  What famous (or not so famous...living or deceased) person would you like to sit over lunch with?

I'm already breaking my own rule...not that it was a rule, but more like multiple people. I'd like to sit with all the mother's in my life...starting with birth mother (never met), first and second foster mothers (never met) and adoptive mother (died with I was 16) so I could thank each and every one.

2.  If you had the microphone on stage in front of the World for your 15 minutes of fame, what would you do or say?

"If anyone has seen a 1940's rose gold Crawford watch..square face...a row of tiny rubies along the top...a row of tiny diamonds along the bottom, and the rose gold diamond ring and wedding band, please forward it to...It was passed down to me from my adoptive mother and stolen from my home about 15 years ago."  It still breaks my heart to think about it.

3.  If you were a Collector, what would your collection consist of?

I like stuff that moves and saw a great collection of antique toasters...cool.  I guess toasters it is!

4.  If you could take in one animal from the Wild Kingdom (knowing you wouldn't get mauled or eaten or trampled..and you have plenty of room), what animal would that be?

I'm taking in two :)  An elephant and a tiger.

5.  What would you do if $1,000,000 fell into your lap?

Buy an RV and hit the road, Jack.  Before hitting the road, I'd take all my friends to Aruba.

6.  What are you doing for Thanksgiving?

Enjoying a peaceful quiet day while MH prepares his usual feast fit for a King and his Queen.

I reserve the right to change my mind about anything anytime. :)

Wow. These questions take some thought..and I am all Nyquilled up. So..let's see what my answers are in a nyquill state of mind.

1.  What famous (or not so famous...living or deceased) person would you like to sit over lunch with? I would have to say my answer is similar to you, Clarity. My nanny, the monks and nuns who watched over me when I was younger and a violin teacher I had in college that was a big mentor to me. Hmm...i bet i could actually find her with a little digging around.Surprised

2.  If you had the microphone on stage in front of the World for your 15 minutes of fame, what would you do or say? Probably something charming like...really people...why can't you cut it out and..you know..just listen, listen, love, love.. and THAT is why I will never be given a mike on stage in front of the world.

3.  If you were a Collector, what would your collection consist of? stamps. definately stamps.

4.  If you could take in one animal from the Wild Kingdom (knowing you wouldn't get mauled or eaten or trampled..and you have plenty of room), what animal would that be? a black lab..okay not so wild kingdom...

5.  What would you do if $1,000,000 fell into your lap?  catch up on bills (medical and kids college), pay off our mortgage, talk to a financial advisor to figure out taxes and donations to some organizations of my choice...ooh..and fix my trombone and buy a new bridge for my violin...and maybe some groceries? Groceries would be nice.

6.  What are you doing for Thanksgiving. Spending it with family. A big huge Irish/Italian American family and extended family as well as a handful of family friends. About 40-50 ish people? So lots of food, wanted and unwanted advice and just plain normal dysfunctional family coziness. I'm looking forward to it!

The difference between who you are and who you imagine yourself to be, is what you do.
