1) What is your favorite season of the year and why?

I love the spring when it's not raining - seeing everything wake up and blossom and renew...

2) What is your favorite thing to do for entertainment?

I really like going to comedy clubs (on non-smoking night!)... I love to just escape and laugh and not think about anything else...

3) Do you like to complain when a man watches sports or get right in there with them and enjoy it? If you enjoy it, which is your favorite to watch?

I like to watch if it's a sport I enjoy too... if it's one I don't like, mostly I just complain when the volume is BLASTING loud enough for people the next town over to hear...

4) What is your idea of a romantic evening?

That is a hard one for me... some things I thought I wanted, when I've tried to have them, have not turned out to be as romantic as I hoped... Anytime we are truly just enjoying ourselves together... one you might not expect that I love - going to an amusement park at night, just the two of us, with all the rides lit up after dark, holding hands, riding together... just being together.

5) Where is the one place you would like to see in world that you haven't yet and why?

I would love to tour Europe, and I would love to go on an Alaskan cruise and see whales... haven't gone because of time and $, but one day I hope to go...

6) How do you feel about our country being at war?

I HATE it. I have such mixed feelings and I won't go into a lot of it here as to if we should be or not... but I hate that my children are scared, I hate that people are dying...

7) If you could say one sentence to the Iraqi people, what would it be?

I wish you peace.

8) If you were given four words to describe love in a committed relationship, what would they be?

Enduring, forgiving, accepting, warm

9) What is the one food item you know you could not live without?

I was going to say chocolate, but the thing I truly seem to find hardest to give up is POPCORN, especially kettle corn with the sweet and salty combined...

10) What is your most refined talent?

Why is this one so hard for me? Low self-esteem strikes again... I have trouble thinking of something I feel like I'm good at... I'll have to come back to this one some other time...

I'll play G.T.!

1. I love the spring! It's a time of renewal and it renews me as well!

2. I'm easily entertained! Anything I do with good friends that includes lots of laughter is tops for me.

3. No complaining here! My H doesn't watch any sports except motocross and I love it! Always up for basketball too! If it's one I don't care for I amuse myself.

4. Again nothing fancy! Just being together works well for me! My H and I used to go out and park and watch the airplanes land! Some of our best times were spent there!

5. I want to see all the tropical islands of the world! I love the ocean and the whole romantic notion of isolated tropical island hideaways!

6. I have very mixed feelings! If I could have my way it would be peace all the way! This is one of those times I really want my magic wand!

7. " You each deserve the same rights and freedoms the American people have. Take my hand and we'll find it together"!

8. Friendship, trust, devotion, honor.

9. BREAD, bread, bread!!!

10. My artistic ability.

Thanks Girl! Ebtisama!

hey thanks GT...this is neat!! here goes:

1... i like winter time. why? because i am an introvert and love cold weather, staying inside and hearing the cold wind blow my wind chimes is such peace and solitude, either alone or with someone special.

2... i love old movies. come to think about it for example there was a 1950's stype black & white movie on around Christmas where this high society woman husband found out her husband was having an affair (yea, i thought it was a coincidence that i found it)but she was listening to her friends on what to do and it was hilarious on the different jams she got herself into. end result they ended up getting back together but her friends were still encouraging her to set little cat & mouse traps to get revenge on him and the other woman. old movies sort of takes your mind off today.

5&6.. i would like to see the country of saudi arabia, iraq etc. and what i feel about the war? i really feel bad (it never bothered me for the gulf war like it does this one)maybe because i am older now, but i feel bad for those young men and women who just got out of high school and going thru life or death situations now. matter of fact i am seriously thinking of applying for a job with one of the companies that are going to iraq after the war to clean up. the government is looking for computer technicians, trainers, teachers, nurses, whatever. so i am thinking about applying for a teaching position in one of the children's schools. you sign a contract for 1 to 2 years to work there and i think it would be great for someone like my who does not have close family or friends and to take a challenge to give and do something extraordinary before i get too old.

i won't answer the other questions due to my post will be too long....thanks for this neat idea GT.

Rain I loved your post go finish it? It wasn't too long! Can I go with you to Iraq? I would also love to see the Middle East and help rebuild! I do have family but, have always wanted to make a real difference! My XOM is Syrian and I have many Syrian friends that are very worried about their families! It's hard! But, not one of them thinks the U.S. is wrong! They all wonder what took us so long!

I also have many windchimes on my patio! This is our windy time of year too! Love the sound they make!

Shokran Habibi!!!

in reply to sweetblond....

3.... i used to get right in and watch and i loved baseball.

4.... my idea of a romantic evening is a man surprising me by taking me to an art museum or just a book store. i don't like "typical" dates of dinner resturants (too crowded) or movies (too crowded and people talking in the movies or laughing too loud) and clubs is out the question. once we are both tipsey with alcohol we may not want to see each other the next day!

7.... if one thing i could say to the iraq people would be "tell me or show me what you can to do." everyone has a skill, talent or a way of life that may be a learning experience or a learning tool for me. sort of like exchanging ideas so we help each other.

10. i don't have a a refined talent. i need to choose one, because right now i am trying to experience reading more (atleast one positive book a week, and getting more organized n my spiritual reading and thoughts. i am looking into what is yoga and how it affects the mind. anyone into that let me know before i join a goup. thanks...
