Gosh, I wish we could publish the Wisdom and Insights thread into a book. Get new monikers for our monikers, edit out all the over-identifying details.... Man, this book would rock. It'd be like a new bible - um, you know, sort of... sans Jesus and whatnot. Think of all the people we could touch!
Is this just a pipe dream?? Could it ever really happen? Probably not. If it did, wouldn't it be a nice project for us to all work on -- OH! And! we could donate the proceeds to a really cool charity (such as a womens shelter OR our trip to Las Vegas??) ha.
Musing,
Dee

It definitely is an awesome thread. Some amazing insight and honesty there. It would make an awesome book. Hmmmm...something to think about. ;-)
I love it when you are musing,
~Iddy~
Count me in to work on it :) It would be like Chicken Soup for the Enders Soul.

As a researcher, I often find myself analyzing us from a critical feminist perspective - just look at how incredible the capacity is for women to mobilize around one another - and not pathologize (unlike most traditional mental health services) - and support one another to move toward change and emancipation. It really is quite political in terms of what is happening here - because it is happening 'outside' of the 'system'. The members are accountable to one another, the anonymity creates different possibilities - geographical isolation isn't a barrier, childcare isn't a concern, access when and as needed ... and on and on and on!
AMAZING!
We rock,

TU,
I love this take on it! Analyzing the iVillage model! OH, Oh... I'm getting all excited thinking of the possibilities! Gee, what about a film?? Maybe we could do it like Julia and Julia - simultaneously telling the story(ies) of real (fake) women doing EAS, and the story of the "board" as a character. Get it?
Luvin needs to kick in with some legal here! Keep us grounded and shiz.
Iddy, who do you want to play you?
