OK...here I am approaching my first weekend NC. Having a hard time getting him out of my head constantly, and pretending to be the good mom and wife again. Anyway, this weekend is going to be frigidly cold (single digits) where I live, and I am wanting to just keep warm by the fire and watch movies. (Something I used to love to do pre-A) BUT...I need some good suggestions, as I can't think clearly enough these days to produce anything from this fogged-up brain of mine.
So, anyone have any favorite movies that are
A- NOT a romance or romantic comedy and/or
B- Suspenseful and keep you on-the-edge-of-your-seat
I have kids too so maybe one or two can be a good all around family movie too. They are 10 and 12 so PG or PG-13 is ok, but I do think I will be watching some of them just me and H. A friend at work was just saying "Taken" was really good so that will be one of them. I need suggestions of movies that will be so engaging I almost CAN'T think about him. KWIM?
Thanks so much....maybe we can come up with some good ones that others can refer to also. This has been such a horrible week, and I honestly am not looking forward to a cold weekend inside with the H and kids, so maybe I can get my tub 'o popcorn and escape for a while!
((((HUGS))))) to all.....

I haven't gone to the movies as of late, but I have few suggestions.
Comedy: The Hang Over
Psychological Thriller: The Last King of Scotland
Light and cute: Finding Nemo (lol)
Hope this helps. :) Enjoy your weekend!
When your kids are around, watch the Spiderman movies.
Comments and
With my kids, any of the Harry Potter movies. We have watched
them over and over.
With my H ... I love the Ocean 11 series of movies, the Bourne identity movies, the matrix ... oldies but goodies.
Comedy: Love the movie Snatch and Superbad
And if you go to tvshack.net
there are endless amounts of movies and tv shows for free ... all the above included. the only hit is you only get 72 minutes and then you wait an hour ...
happy viewing!
