Good Healthy Revenge!?

Hoping this post helps someone today...maybe you can relate some kind of way.
There is really no such thing as good or healthy revenge...but heres a little story, hell, its silly, and one might think it is a little juvenile. But I think all of us have been a little of guilty of that.
When exAp and I first met, he said I was amazing and so cool because I knew so much about the NFL etc..I was a sports fan's dream girl, because I had the same passion and knowledge and sports as he did. The very first conversation we ever had was about Sports, the NFL, etc...
So yesterday my team beats the crap about his team, his long childhood beloved team. My team was awesome and really smacked his team down. It was soooooo sweet in so many ways. Especially since he had badmouthed my team and one specific player so much. Looking back, as the relationship went on he would always comment on my team and how they would never make it to the playoff's etc...It was almost his way of taking hits at me personally, I just blew it off to that male bravado NFL stuff.
Sooooo juvenile me was happy yesterday, so happy cuz my team WON. So, I told myself, I WON!! This was my so called sweet, healthy revenge. And it felt good. But just for a second. I was thinking, take that you lying fake!!! Silly, I know, but it was like cool to not break contact and know that he was getting his over due karma (he bets money on games). It was like I was getting revenge for not doing a thing!!
I knew he was thinking of me during that game, as I was him. N I know the game has nothing to do with us, but I felt the Angels above were smiling at me and granted me my one football wish!!
So now I say all that to say...my small, harmless, high, went away really, really quick!! I gave him too much of a thought. I am not sad today but I still gave him too much of MY energy. Energy and time I can not get back. My point is. I look forward to the day when I am un-phased by this person FOREVER. I recognize that although I have maintained NC for so long, this is a JOURNEY...a long one and although I have made progress, still a ways to go. Have to stay humble...or I can be knocked the hell out just like those players on the field.
Ladies, continue with me on this journey, I am happy to have you all with me and still need you all despite my progress, thanks.

P.S. Still really happy my team won and am promising myself that next game will be just that, me enjoying the game, n not letting exAP consume it, just me enjoying the game for me!!

I thought you were talking about me for a second.

Okay...you be the better woman.
This guy named Brett plays for my team, seems he has been around a while...lol. Actually, he is the reason I like the team :)
Let me know if you need any further info Clarity.

Ohhaaa Luvin, I saw that final score and it looks like xAP’s team’s defensive line fell apart like all of xAP’s lies.
I’ve seen outcomes of Pit Bull attacks that were less brutal! That beat down was issued by a veteran at that! Dangggahh your xAP must have been in fetal position on the floor rocking from the pain.
Whether you think you can or you think you can't you are probably right. A parrot can repeat what it has learned but the mark of true intelligence is applying what is learned.
