Gratituesday was born out of the idea that amid the chaos and craziness that ensues during the course of ending the A it is so important to recognize the GOOD, the IMPROVED, the BLESSINGS that exist in our lives despite our bad behavior no matter how small, or how insignificant it may seem.

Good morning Lolly!

My gratitude is selfish today - I'm grateful for pampering - massages, facials, and pedicures.

I'm grateful that you get to look at daffodils while I have 2 feet of snow!! The wind chill is -1 right now....yes, E1 Chicagoland is feeling like Antarctica :) Therefore, I'm grateful for my 105 degree yoga torture chamber!

I am grateful that my husband offered a small girl in a wheelchair and her mom a ride home from the supermarket 16 days ago. The courage with which she endures her disability and the radiance of her smile (along with my husband's gentleness and compassion towards two strangers in need) were the triggers which finally made me step up to be a better person and end the A once and for all. Last Tuesday she had extensive neurosurgery and I'm so happy to say that she's doing great and learning to walk again. Every day I visit her in hospital and the purity of her soul and the strength of her spirit help me to see the blessings all around us.
