My dear boardies,

Gratituesday was born out of the idea that amid the chaos and craziness that ensues during the course of ending the A it is so important to recognize the GOOD, the IMPROVED, the BLESSINGS that exist in our lives despite our bad behavior no matter how small, or how insignificant it may seem.

"For the first time in my life, I felt validated all by myself and realized that having worked so hard these last few months on getting to what was broken in ME - allowed me to love him without having some weird hangup on having him love me back."

OMG Lolly - this made tears spill! I KNOW how powerful that realization is ... how freeing. I am just arriving there myself. Your post put words to what I was feeling.

Reading your post made me grateful to have these moments - right NOW with the ones I love the most, clear of the fog, fully present and engaged. Life is short, but sweet for certain ... said the singer i do adore ... and I am trying to embrace that notion fully. I am grateful, so grateful to have the capacity to continue loving, and to continue being loved, after all the hurt that I have felt and caused.

Thank you Lolly for helping me reflect on what I am grateful for today (:

Lolly, I am very grateful that I have not lost my compassion and understanding. I once went to a workshop were the leader told me if I didn't stop how I was living I would become a very bitter woman. That was before my affair. I chose one heck of a path to become that bitter woman by my own doing. Thank you for sharing Lolly, you inspire me to keep digging and to become aware of life around me and to live in the present. Your post touched me and showed me how far you have come through your losses and the understanding you have reached. <3

Wow, Lolly. Reading your post brought me to tears. I cannot even begin to imagine the turmoil you've suffered. My God, woman, you are strong. You are the true definition of working through this process, accepting our losses, feeling the grief, and turning the bad into something good. Major, major kudos and admiration to you.

Today, I am simply grateful for the human spirit and it's capacity for love, forgiveness, kindness and strength.

Blessing to everyone today,

You are all very sweet - today's post is not a gratilolly post - tho. I am VERY grateful for each of you in my life. I guess with the emotional state that I've been in I just feel it so strongly today and wanted to explain some of the "stuff" we endure - and conquer.

Life happens. We have a choice in it.

I am not some saint or some super strong woman. I simply have dealt with the life I was given. I want my life to mean something to the people I love.

Thanks Lolly for this amazing reminder to be grateful. I'm so grateful to feel the fog lifting in significant ways and to be hopeful about my future. And as always for this group of people who spur each other on, give accountability, love and encouragement.
