It has to be :) You are recognizing the "whys" and that is so good! We all have different circumstances - and for you, LC, plus H out of town, plus small kids, plus working full time = wearing thin. My mom always reminds me to HALT - never get too Hungry, Angry, Lonely or Tired. When all of them hit you at once, it can be a recipe for disaster.
I'm feeling the same way this morning - it's dreary and quiet here. Easy to start reminiscing about what we thought we had. Keep pushing the thoughts out of your head and replace them with reality. I'll be doing it with you. Be strong for me and I'll be strong for you :)
Hi Babysteps- Yes, this is a growth spurt. You recognize why you are feeling this way and you know that it will pass. There isn't much certain in this healing process, but there is one thing that is, with each day, the lows better a little more tolerable. And each time you survive one, you get a little stronger. Keep looking forward. I know what it's like to cut the last A tie. Just before 90 days, I left my dream job to get away from xap. It was almost as hard as ending the A the first time, but it was the best thing I could have done for myself and my H. You will get through this- and once that final tie is cut, there is nothing "looming" out there to hurt you.
