Guess what? No divorce granted

Well, the judge would not grant me a divorce on irreconcileable differences. So now we are going to have to turn around and let my husband file on the grounds that I committed adultery. What a nightmare this has turned into. I never thought that we would be denied a divorce. So, no, I did not tell X-OM anything. My first concern now is to get this divorce finalized. Please keep me in your prayers. I want to get this over with.

I know this must feel like a pretty crappy time for you, but keep in mind that someday soon it will be over. Try to find a bit of inner peace that you can carry inside you and rely on when you are feeling frustrated. And visit here often :-) we are here for you!

Would not grant you a divorce????????
Are you allowed to use "extreme mental cruelty" as grounds for divorce in your state? Since it's a public record it might be easier on your kids to use those grounds instead of adultery.......
