Wish I could fast forward you to me and where I am in my journey. I have had nights and days and nights like yours....sounds like you got up today and started it off right. Sounds like you have a realistic perspective on things...keep that focus.
It does get better....I know its hard to see that now, but it does. Enjoy hubby and the lil ones...Mine saved me and they do not even know it....
Have a great day....hopefull tonight will be a better one.
I'll be so happy for you when you are no longer this stressed out and no longer thinking about your X either good or bad to motivate you. However, I am THRILLED that you used this time to turn it around and do something really positive for you and your family. that is awesome!!! Redirecting that negative thinking in to positive action for the betterment of you and your family. So wonderful. You are making a very good start on your journey, if you keep this up. I look forward to hearing about your next few days.
Alice, Wise? I don't know about that! Certainly not this early in the morning, in any event. But, my suggestion for day three is just to bare through it. Use the steps already posted here over and over: NC - make sure you have taken the steps to protect yourself from him and from your own compulsion. Distract yourself with positive actions and thoughts, even if you're tired or feeling worn out. Do not allow yourself to wallow or daydream; switch your thinking every time you get in that headspace. Journal in a positive, forward thinking way. Be good to yourself - eat well, drink lots of water, try to get some exercise and focus your energy on your loved ones and friends. Take the day hour by hour, moment by moment if you have to. Celebrate the small victories.
AND - read read read the posts here. Come here for support. Read the Healing Library again.
Remember that you are NOT alone. you have a lot of love and support from women here who have btdt and are cheering for you.
I look forward to hearing about your very successful day 3!
