Hi everyone - just checking in to see how you all are! I miss you guys!
I'm doing well- NC with exAP for ages now. He used me for sex and ego stroking . I mistook it for love. Took me ages to get over that!
I moved to a new house last year and went through s period of depression. I got over that but going through a similar thing this year - now its about my kids growing up!
I think I self medicated with the A. Now I'm struggling ( but will succeed) in facing all my demons and beating the sh-t outta this:smileywink:

Hey Iggy- I am not on here much anymore.  Busy with a nasty custody battle and divorce, and trying to make ends meet financially.

Good to hear from you!

Hi Iggy!

I remember you from my MANY other attempts at NC.  I'm sorry your feeling a bit down.  I've been dealing too with the kids growing up. I have 4 kids and my 3rd (my only daughter) left for college Sept. 1st. Only one left at home who's 16. Its nice to know we have that freedom now but its sad to not be needed like we were. No more boo boo's to kiss, no ghosts to chase away. etc....BUT they always need us!  Smile! and stay around cause people like me can use your help.

Good to hear from you, Iggy

Man, it's always something...some fly in our ointment.  But we learn...the only way to get it out is by dealing with it head on...even if is a bit of a struggle. I guess that's what life is all about...struggles and victories.  Imagine how boring life would be if we had no struggles...no challenges.  Wait...that sounds kinda nice...nevermind.

Really though, It's the Yin and Yang of life.  How would we appreciate the good life if something didn't come along every now and then to make us appreciate it.

Do you have any plans once the kids are gone?
