Board is quiet...and I am sure no none to very few of us went around asking for end affair support referrals to friends n family. The board was around before google but I bet that may be how some of us found it.

I got it from a friend in law school...we were pretty close and she told me about it all those years ago. I was hooked n was a lurker n used it to get thru my first A...of n on. Recent A, I knew where to go immediately and have been here ever sense...so tell us your story about how u found EAS...did u come from another board? Whatever your story please share...

I can't remember my exact route here ... but I know I stumbled upon it. I've said elsewhere that I found MAS first, read for a bit, and then left and carried on with my Affair. Once i was began to seriously start the process of ending, I looked harder for resources. I fell upon EAS.

I started reading ... and reading and reading, within hours I think I posted my first post. That was in Dec. 2009. I came and went a couple more times before I got my ending right. I've learned that leaving this board is a kiss of death for Newbies, and that if someone is no longer with us, they've likely broken NC. That makes me sad as I now wish I would have stuck around when I first found EAS.

Anyway, I'm here now, and won't be going anywhere anytime soon. I've read other boards, but no community is like ours. I start and end each day here.

I'll never forget how I found EAS. I can't remember exactly when it was, probably Sept. or Oct. 2009. I had just engaged in my affair. I googled

Hi luvin,
Hi luvin,

I did an Internet search and MAS came up, it was there I saw posts that referred to EAS. I posted on a few of the different affair related boards over the years and It wasn't until a few weeks ago when I posted on
EAS that I became committed to becoming healthier. I read first thing in the morning and on breaks throughout the day. EAS is a great support and I am thankful to be learning and absorbing from each post I read :)

Funny, years ago I was googling and looking for something positive about affairs. I was looking for justification that it wasnt a bad person... Just someone with needs. Of course that is very hard to find, but I did stumble on MAS and posted there when I was struggling with some stupid thing xAP did, like go on vacation with his family or pulled back or whatever.. Early on Lexi mentioned EAS to someone, after that I noticed some would post a goodbye post that they were moving over to EAS. This last year I read here a lot but didn't want to end it so it was read only. It did help me get the strength to finally say enough is enough. I started to realize through all if your posts that I was was killing myself for nothing. Our A had run its course and I was the only one working at it, and I just felt yuck all the time. So I wrote my goodbye post on MAS and immediately headed here. I know I'm not the best or most consistent poster but I do start and end my day here. All you vets...Dee is my latest... I have been reading all your old posts from the beginning. That inspires me more than anything. Wow... Dee doesnt even sound like the same person. Can't wait to feel the same way. :)

Thanks all!

First I had found the All-Sides board and thought, "WTF?" If it's all sides, then how come the OW's are getting creamed over there? So, I lurked for a while, made a list of who was who...and got to know them better. Of course there were more BS's there than WS's and OW's, but some of the stuff I read just blew me away. Back at that time there were some

I googled affair support and found MAS way back before my final ending.
