I need to return something to OMM

Hi all! I've been feeling the pinch a little bit this week, missing OMM. We've just finished week 5 of NC and I can't believe we made it this far. Here's my current dilemma: shortly after OMM and I met we began exchanging an inordinate number of text messages. H got annoyed because my cell phone bill was so high, so OMM bought me a cell phone and he paid the bill. I still have the darned phone, and it feels like it might be time to give it back to OMM.

On the one hand, I selfishly want to keep it and hope that every once in a while I'll get a text message from OMM that will brighten my day and give me some drama and chaos at the same time. On the other hand, I know that's insanity and I need to return it. My plan is to mail it to him because I know I can't see him. I'll weaken, he'll have a chance to plead his case, we'll wind up in some sleazy hotel, and I'll have ruined my attempts to reclaim my marriage (temporarily or permanently). I can't do this in person.

I was going to mail it to him with a short note further explaining the goodbye, just because I can't bear the thought of just tossing the phone into a box and sending it off to him without something.

So I need input, ladies. How would you make the return????? You all have wonderful ideas and I can't ask too many real-life people how to handle this one and I can't seem to figure it out on my own. TIA.

My suggestion is that you save yourself postage expense as cell phone technology changes rapidly. What I would do would be to contact the provider and request cancellation of your number. I seriously doubt MM will continue to pay for your service too much longer once he realizes your A is truly ended.

Good Luck to you!
