Hi, everyone!
Back from a week out of town and back on the board right away. I am a little wrung out from the trip, but feeling ok about how everything turned out. Thanks, btw, for all the good wishes and support for my earlier post re: leaving! Y'all are so sweet!!!
So... dayum! A lot has happened on the board since I left. Several new posters, some fell off and are back to MAS (sigh), and some have broken NC.... so much to digest! Maybe it's because I'm tired or maybe I'm overwhelmed, but the thought crossed my mind for just a sec that all of this was too much for me and maybe I should retire from the board. How on Earth do the Vets do it!!? No, seriously. Not a rhetorical question. How do you girls do it? I _want_ to be like you. I want to be as selfless, strong, engaged, giving... I want to give back to this community that has saved me. How do you find the strength?
I am so grateful for EAS everyday. Not posting here just wouldn't feel right.
Deepest respect and love,
Dee

Hi Dee,
Welcome back. I hope you don't retire. You have given me several pieces of good advice over the last couple of months. You have been a GREAT help! I'm hoping you're just tired from your trip. Take a few days to get back to your routine, and come back!

We missed you Dee. I was just thinking about you last night and wondered when you'd be back. Thanks for posting in.
How do we do it....like for the last 6 years? Well, I guess first you'd have to have the time, and then the desire to want to help others. At least that's my story. ;-)
Love ya,
~Iddy~
Oh dont retire Dee- please!!
I wont break NC again- I promise :)

Whether you think you can or you think you can't you are probably right. A parrot can repeat what it has learned but the mark of true intelligence is applying what is learned.
