Hopefully, this is a decent step toward my recovery.

Hello Alohagirl,

I'm married, so I won't be going through this process, but I'll try my best to offer some advice ;)

I know you're hurting, I cannot understand the pain that you're going through, I'd to leave my place of employment because of A...

I think it's great that you're going on a date, and see it for what it is, a date - harmless bit of fun with another single person. You may not establish a relationship from these dates immediately, however, what it is doing is occupying you, distracting you from the pain you're in.

It's a social outing with someone whom you can't (i'd advise not to) talk to about XAP and it will keep your mind busy.

You also never know what could happen.

Try your hardest to have some fun, these are dates thatdon't demand committment or promises, just fake it til you make it... as much as it hurts.

We're all here for you.

PL x (let us know how it goes )

HEllo Alohoagirl- I too think it's great that you are "getting out there;" however, I just want to caution you. Make sure you aren't just trying to fill a void that you need to be sure to fill on your own. Until you've healed and faced all of your demons, you won't be healthy enough to enjoy the type of relationship you deserve.

Hugs,

My sister told me once that the best way to get over one man is to get under another one (LOL). Of course you deserve to go out and have fun. Fake it till you make it.
