I am so glad you started your own thread. Everyone needs to feel special around here, because you are. Understand that just because we had an A, does not mean you are a bad person. The choice you (we) made was a bad one. I know you are hurting right now so I will be gentle and just ask you to read our Healing Library when you have time. Read the threads about NC (No contact), the D-Day thread, and our Wisdom and Insight threads. There are two of them, part 1 and part 2.
Finding us was the best thing that you could have done for yourself. We have all BTDT and have the T-shirt to prove it. We all have had to go through, or are going through, the painful ending process....but know that you are no longer alone with this pain...and that in a few months time your emotions will be in a much better place. I'm not going to go into how wrong an A is..you will read enough about that. :smileywink: Just understand that your Xmm ended it because he was afraid, and with good reason. He could lose everything as could you, and by his letting you go, he is doing what is best for both of you.
I have to get ready for work now, but I wanted to again welcome you to our community and tell you that you are in safe hands here.
You are right you can do it and with the support of EAS you will find the support very helpful, it has been a great help to me. Be kind to yourself, read and post as much as you can and I'm glad you are here:)
I'm glad you started your own thread - I was worried that your response to the other one would get buried. Like you, I told no one about my A. I also suffered in silence for a long, long time.
