I haven't posted much in the past few months, but I stop by occasionally to see what's happening. And occasionally I need a little hand holding or some wise words to soothe an angry thought. Without EAS, I would undoubtedly still be in the muck and mire of an A.
To the newbies. My heart goes out to you, I know your pain. And I understand your struggles. But I also want to say you just have to make yourself move forward. Living in affairworld is so full of stress and angst. I went through it for years and I know all of you have as well. Iddy's recent post about how her affair affected her health is spot on. We don't even fathom something like that could happen to us - but it does and often to those of us who said oh I won't be one of those. Not only did my affair see me reach the

Hi Bandk,
It's always so nice to hear from you. I loved the movie, "Moonstruck", and Cher won Best Actress for the role she played, (for you young'uns who don't know what we are talking about.) :smileywink:
I wasn't who I wanted to be, I was really starting to despise myself. Ending the affair didn't make me better right away, I am still on that journey and this is a tough journey we are all one, it's one of the best journeys I have been on. I am starting to see some progress and after reading your post it has given me an additional push of determination. Thank you for sharing your thoughts it was a pleasure to read what hard work will produce:)

I heart you.
Such a well-written and compassionate message you posted. (BTW, I loved "Moonstruck") I think all of us have looked deeply in the mirror at one point or another. It is scary, especially when you find it difficult to look at yourself. That's the bell-ringer for change.
I miss you and your thoughtful posts. Hope we get to see more of you around here.
Big Hug,

P.S. Jen, I am always so happy when I see your posts. I know you are working it, girl!!! You have made so much progress and it really shows. You have a lot to be proud of. :smileyhappy:

Dear Babdk,
Thanks for helping the journey back to ME
Where I am free
and I can hardly see
that "man" I used to be
So fate let me land here,
I gave up the wheel and let y'all steer
full of fear
but into the clear
but its beyond these walls where we truly find
that one true 'self' we had left behind
As we ran off to a fantasy land
Making complete shambles of the lives we had.
And through the facing of our reflection
can we find the answers to those deepest questions
Only by returning that knowledge back here to give
can today, OUR lives, we start to live!
And although this journey be long, and its easy to fade
I say to you my friend....I am so very glad its one that you have made!
Thanks so much for checking in and shining a light to those of us a little further behind.
Sending many grateful vibes your way tonight
peace&light
