When I was in A, xAP used to tell me to "leave my unhappy marriage" when I'd vent about things.

Hi Beautiful,

It’s true that once the A ends we are thrown back into RL to deal with the problems that were there pre-A. For those of us that are M we find the same problems that existed pre-A did not magically go away.

I know you are frustrated but I do need to ask some questions:

1)

Whether you think you can or you think you can't you are probably right. A parrot can repeat what it has learned but the mark of true intelligence is applying what is learned.

Hi Beautiful,

Don’t worry your answers they do not necessarily mean that there is going to be a train wreck. It simply means there is some work for you both to do if you want to have your needs met and be happy in your relationship.

I’m going to jump around a bit with my answer so please bear with me. The Five Love Languages is a book by Gary Chapman which explains that each partner has one of five ways they express love.

Welcome beautiful_sunshine

Maybe you can familiarize yourself through the Chemistry thread in our H.L. to gain a better perspective how chemicals change over time and settle into a deep, more committed love in a long-term R vs. that in-love feeling chemical which we feel with a new attraction and
