hi all,
i'm new to the board, a week NC and I was the one who ended it. one of the ways i'm trying to get to the "good riddance" place is to focus on the ugly stuff that showed xAP's true character. one thing that jumps to mind was when we went out to a romantic lunch. we were seated by the waitress and he had some gum he wanted to get rid of. we didn't have paper napkins so he said to the waitress "can you get me a napkin for my gum or should I just hand it to you?". i don't know who was more stunned, me or her! this helps reassure me that i'm much better off without him every time.

Hi Wit,

I also find it very helpful to think about all the bad and ugly stuff. That's so gross what you told us about the gum! WHO DOES THAT??

My xAP can be gross too. Sometimes he kept burping, while saying "oh, my stomach doesn't feel so good, sorry for all the burping."
Whereas I would say: "I am used to your burping by now." (Because he always used to burp all of a sudden. EWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!)
He didn't like it when I said that, he said: "I don't want you to get used to it," or something like that. But of course I meant it in a sarcastic way.

good riddance huh?
LOL
