Dont feel stupid! Our emotions have a way of creeping up on us and as you are in such close proximity to him, it would have been easy to develop an attraction. I dont want to jump to conclusions, but he may be projecting his anger at you because of how guilty he feels. Excuses aside, he has no right to treat you like garbage.

He is a grown man and if he cannot own up to his part in the A, its not your problem. In fact as he is your boss, he had an even bigger responsibility to keep his actions above board.

I havent been in this situ so I dont have much constructive advice for you but others here will. All i can say is not to beat yourself up for having feelings for him. We love and we learn then we somehow manage to love again. Think of him as doing you a favor. Someone that erratic with their emotions would be a nightmare to live with in the long run.

There are many helpful articles on going LC at work in the Healing Library especially the one for Maintaining Low Contact at work:

Big hugs to you and wishing you better days soon.

i wish i had a dime, even a penny, for the same thoughts and experiences that we have all written here. i'd be rich indeed. i could even quit my job. lol.have you read the HL library below? or the xmm handbook? or wisdom and insights?

what you are feeling is typical. the fallout from the xmm walking away is typical.
