Mantras on the mirror
| Mon, 05-10-2010 - 9:17am |
Since I'm M'd and have not had a d-day, I can't be as public with the mantras as I like -- but last night I posted a new on on my bathroom mirror: "Happiness and Health are a CHOICE; not an accident." This keeps me focused on the fact that i am in control of my destiny and that the story of my life is for ME to tell, not a play or book that is being played for me as I passively sit back and watch.
What are your most powerful Mirror Mantras?

I am bumping this up.
How funny that you post this today - this last week I cut vinyl letters out and put them across the top of my mirror - I borrowed part of Theodore Roosevelt's quote from his speech at the Sorbonne in Paris 1910 - it reads
STRIVE VALIANTLY, daring greatly.
The whole quote reads - (MY ALL TIME FAVORITE)
"It is not the critic who counts:
its almost EMBARRASSING how SIMPLE / MEDIEVAL mine are - but they've gotten me out of some ROUGH thinking spots. As I become less Thought stopping oriented - Im sure mine will become as eloquent but for now here's what's worked:
STOP

ITS OVER
I LOVE AND APPROVE OF MYSELF
Dee,
Tupac is the best!! He has several books written by him and others written about him ALL worth reading.
