If you are struggling with walking away from the toxicity that is an Affair.... me too.
If you are hurting, wondering how this happened, wondering if life will ever get back to some sort of normalcy.... me too.
If you feel guilt and shame for the lies that you told and the people that you hurt.... me too.
If you are looking to get out of the fog, to move on with your life, to go back to loving those who love you.... me too.
I want you all to know that you are not alone. We are all in this together, and we will all get through this together. Some are farther along in the journey than others, and they have graced us by staying to help those who have just begun.
If you are crying today, if you are sad, close your eyes and know that I have been where you are, I understand COMPLETELY why you hurt they way you do, you are not a horrible person, and you are loved.
Me too.
Love,
Angel

Your message wrapped around me like a loving embrace.
Thank you Fallen.

Angel,
It's SSSSSSOOOOOOOO helpful to hear this.
The hurt, the confusion, the guilt, the sadness, the embarrassment, the relief - even when you acknowledge and accept it all, it's still a very difficult journey.
Thank you so much for posting. You literally brought tears to my eyes.
HLS :)
Thank you angel. For the past several months, when I am feeling really down, I do close my eyes and imagine myself in a room full of all of my EAS sisters. It's the imaginary hug that gets me through. Thanks for reminding us.
Hugs,
