Wow, great post! Good for you! You have certainly been through a journey and have many lessons learned even if it was the hard way. That's what we need to take from these huge mistakes that we have made. I know I am a better person, mother, wife for it and so are you!

Thank you!! I needed to hear this today!

And thank you for mentioning the part about falling in love with your H again- I have wondered that.... and we are working on it- but it's good to hear someone else say it. Thanks for the encouragement :)

This absolutely touched me to the core. I have a similar story, from the old bf/lover thing to the reasons why I got into the A's. I also had two A's...well three if you count that xap and I also had an A 20 years ago. (Not sure if he counts as one or two A's?) I am so happy that you have discovered so much about yourself and know the reason you got involved in the A's

A very positive success story which shows how getting down to your core issues answer all the important questions about the A that have little to do with xAP and more to do with ourselves. Why we made the choices we did and why we put ourselves in the situations we did.

I hope you don’t mind me cutting and pasting it down in the “Success Stories” thread in the Healing Library!

Thank you for posting. Ive been feeling discouraged with myself lately and youve shined the light alittle further down the road for me.

Like yourself, I had more than one A, equaling to a total of 8 years in the fog. I can come up with the reasons or excuses(depends how u look at it) as to why that happened, but Im more focused on facing my issues head on. Im 7 months post A, broke NC at 6 months and now re-examining the whys and been needing some hope. You gave me that today, Thank you (hugs)

Im working on my M, and like you said it doesnt happen overnight, but I can see that it is happening.I even find myself getting excited about how far H and I can go when we both put in the work.

Anyways, thanks again for sharing your story..it has made a difference.
