Well, the thing is I've always formed these crushes on men before M and then after. I wanted them to show that they were interested and when they didnt I felt rejected, when they did I was on top of the world.

the first few years of m I had calmed down completely with the seeking affection. At that time I was really in church and had a strong r w/ God. We then left the church for certain reasons.

Caribu (and others),

Have you looked into abandonment issues for yourself?

Onward and upward.

Energy,

Yes, I'm looking into the abandonment thing. I know many of my issues come from my father not caring and not being there. When he was, it was bad. One of my most vivid memories is when he took my sister and I to a woman's house who he was having an A with. My mother was at work when this was going on. My sister and I played dolls in the woman's kitchen while they went into the room.

I was very young but understood what was going on. At one point he drove my mom to an attempted suicide, He left us struggling and really wasnt there for us. There is so much more to this story but that would be for another board. So I do know why I am the way I am.
