Originally, I was going to post around this time to say that it had been a year since I last saw him, since it ended and to say that, although there were some bumps along the way, things were going well, I was moving on and getting back on track.

First of all, congrats on making it through to a year. That's huge! IMO, running into him was a test of time which you passed with great dignity, only proving that a year out has given you the wisdom and strength to put all that you have learned into practice. Even though it was unplanned, you past with flying colors.

Wow, Deb...I never thought I'd see the day someone would call me their inspiration on this board, so thank you for that!

Truth be told, I wasn't always this strong.

Ill keep my story short and to the point...Ive been with my H for 15 years, have had 2 A's. The 1st one I broke off and the second one I got dumped. I didnt see it coming at all. I left H and started preparations to begin our life together. He was single and for whatever reason chickened out. The A was almost 4 years. He contacted me about 2 months after and Im walking away with my head held high

Don't EVER say a good hair day doesn't matter!!! The BEST revenge is holding your head high, walking away and looking damn good when you do it!! You go sister.

I'm going to have to chime in as well and say you're also my inspiration!

My A only lasted a couple of months, but it had a FIRM grip on me :) I've been M almost 19 yrs, and xAP has been married 15. No D-day, and hopefully that won't happen.
