Hi all...

#1...I understand and am grateful for what you are trying to do here. Of course, XMM and I cannot be friends now that we have crossed that line. However, what I meant was...he and I just understood each other, you know...if he was a female, he would have been my bestfriend by now. He and I have what it takes for great friendship, but we messed it up and can never be now. I am under no illusion that we could go back to being platonic again. Well, I was before...until I caved in and realized that it was just idiotic to pretend that nothing had happened.

Chaces are her xap absolutely set out to engage her in an inappropriate way, always under the guise of "friendship."

I remember all too well that first email asking me out for a friendly lunch....even then my head knew better and i brought another co-worker...in fact, i did so for years.

But persist and flirt and chase he did. And thats when it becomes the new norm and you actually delude yourself into thinking you truly are friends and share a connection. Hogwash, the only connection most (there are exceptions) MM feel fornthe OW is the connection of different sex and an ego boost.

I was never his friend and silly for me to believe for one second what i could have spotted a mile away were i not the one getting my ego stroked by the flattery.
