Dudette,
Chill. X is only _thinking_ of changing jobs, and even if he did apply at your company... what? is he dipped in gold? Does his shiz not stink? Is it impossible that he'd be turned down? He'll have to compete for the job just like any other schmoe out there (and tis a tough row to hoe, nowadays, I tell you what!)

Point is: relax. you're getting way ahead of yourself.
And NO. You do NOT break NC over this. Are you kidding me? Thwwwwaaack. upside the head.

xo,
Dee

AAI,

So, you are not sure what to do, eh? How about nothing, nada, zilch. You knew we were gonna say that, right? ;-)

As Dee so "articulately" put it, (wink), "Chill." Right now it's only here-say and as already mentioned, there is a process (sometimes a long one) in selecting employees these days. It took my daughter 3 interviews, a power point presentation, a meeting in front of the board, (all men), and then they narrowed 100 applicants down to 2, her and some guy. Well, she got it, but getting a good job these days is no small feat.

I understand that feeling of being kicked in the stomach. Xmm announced to me shortly after a year had passed post A that he was starting another company for his W and kids to run. Does this sound like a man who was miserable in his M? Hahahaha....still, I almost threw up.

Seriously, there is nothing you can do about this news but continue on your path toward healing. A person can work anywhere they want to, and your thinking you could talk him out of applying is just plain absurd. Come on now, AAI, you know better than this. Just set this information aside and continue moving forward. Worrying about something that you have no control over is such a waste of time and energy, and besides, it may never happen.

((Hugs))

Unfortunately, in our line of work, the job is his if he wants it. Actually Dee, not that he's "dipped in gold", but he's just about one of the best in our business at what he does, without giving away too much info. I DO NOT want to make contact, I just wish there was a way of letting him know I work there, because if he did know, I have a feeling he would steer clear. I do not want to have to change jobs again because of him, hopefully he'll get wind of it, it's just that nobody knew of our A, so who would make a point of telling him?
