Another movie I'd forgotten about but recently saw was "Unfaithful" with Anne Lane and Richard Gere.

Unfaithful is on right now, he just changed his clothes to go to his daughters recital....that's not how you spell that word but I'm too lazy to look up the correct spelling.

WC,

One slight correction, It's Diane Lane. :-)

Being in an A at the time I first saw that movie, I should have paid more attention. Knowing, from the inside, the pain that a A can cause, I thought that movie was really well scripted; the combination of the passion, excitement, discovery, deceit and heartache that A's cause. Of course, it wasn't enough to scare me out of what I was doing. As I said, the drug can help us rationalize anything.

Ya know, when I typed the actress's name, it didn't seem quite right.

WC,

UGH...that scene from Fatal Attraction. I haven't seen FA in a long while, but I remember it pretty well.

As I sit here and recall that scene I have to admit, and it absolutely destroys me to say this, but that was pretty much what my DDay was like.

I was in such denial. All the talk on these boards about the chemicals and the "addiction" of the A really does resonate with me. That said, though, I know that real healing only comes from self-awareness; I was acting like such an self-centered, uncaring, in denial a-hole. I have no one else to blame. I know that now and it feels horrible that it took me this long to figure that out.

I really do appreciate your clarity.
