Ok so we went to the party i did my best to control lc, didn't make eye contact, didn't start any convos with him and was very short and tense in my replies to him. He doesn't get it he kept seeking me out whenever i was by myself, told me how good i looked and to get me talking every chance he had. I remained steady in my rebuffs and at one point after drinking all evening he said i guess i get to go home and be with her since you don't want me so f it that right there is an example off an a&sclown my friends. Of course he tried to fix that with you know how i am when I'm mad i say things i don't mean. I didn't even reply and hubby and i snuck out without saying goodbye. Not gonna lie i didn't have much fun , i had a cig when i shouldn't of and cried a little while was out there but i lived.
I replied and got an error message about an hour ago....grrrr.
I think you did great. Can't fault you for having a ciggy during a stressful time.
I think he will always be a kill-joy, and that's why it is so important that you avoid him like the plaque and continuing distancing yourself.
You survived this because you are strong and you know you are doing the right thing. It can take a while for us to unteach people how to treat us, but you've now taught him that you are a women of conviction...a woman of your word.
You did good :)
((hugs))
