Just wanted to tell you two (and everyone else!!! Posie and Free are just the most frequent) that your direct and very honests posts are so very helpful to me - you ROCK!

I'm in a sappy mood and checking out this board and realizing that you all tell the truth as you all see it. I have an awesome friend here who knows about my A and I was on the phone with her last week bawling my eyes out. I told her that I wasn't crying over MM - I was crying because she was being so mean to me! I was JOKING! Ever have one of those laughs that come out of crying so hard? That was it! She didn't make me cry - he did and I did. She just had the GUTS to tell me what I didn't want to hear but KNEW to be true. She told me he didn't care for me, that he lies to me constantly and that I am fool if I think he could ever give me anything more. She also laughs at him WITH me - it helps so much!

Thanks you two for being tough and honest - the best kind of support there is!

I tend to be mushy sometimes but I would always rather tell people what strikes me about them rather then have good thoughts and never share.

Thanks for all you do for this board!

Hiya Lazyone,

We all have friends who will tell us our butts don't look big in this outfit when in fact the outfit is unflattering - they do this to spare our feelings and in hope we will feel good about ourselves. And while they are certainly friends, only a friend in the truest sense of the word would be willing to tell you the truth without sugarcoating it even knowing it may cause you some pain to hear it.

I'm with Free on the sudden need for larger hat sizes ;)

Wishing you strength & peace,

Posie
