I stumbled upon this today and a lot of it made so much sense... I thought it might help some of my EAS sisters too :) Especially the part about listening to your brain, taking feelings with a grain of salt and not allowing them to run your life.

That’s a keeper! It is a good post to put in the Healing Library by cutting and pasting the article.


“The “it” feeling is something we have confused as love and it might be nothing of the sort. Someone might take our breath away because they’re dangerous or unavailable or because they represent people in our past that we want to finally win over.


The head over heels feeling is not always love…in fact most times it’s not. Love, true love, is quieter than that.”


It was hard to only pick one part as the entire article is very good however; this part really resonated with me. Thanks for posting it.
